A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new VHS Covered Hitting Facility was held last week on the campus at Vidalia High School. The players from the baseball and softball programs will benefit greatly from the new 50 x 80 ft. facility. A lot of hard work went into making the hitting facility a reality.

“The people really stepped forward and made it possible starting with Dr. Garrett Wilcox and the Vidalia Board of Education and Mr. John Sharpe. There were also a lot of individuals that made financial donations and we really appreciate what they did for our baseball and softball programs. I would like to thank all of the people that were involved with the project. It is a great project that has been completed and our kids are really going to prosper from it.” Coach Greg James said.
