Aug 5--Mr. Paul McGahee, age 57, of the Kibbee Community, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at his home after a brief illness.  He was a native of Montgomery County, and lived in Kibbee all of his life.  He was self-employed, and among many jobs, he was a truck driver.  He attended the Snow Hill Church of God, and was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Jesteen Beasley McGahee.

Mr. McGahee is survived by his wife, Wanda McGahee of Kibbee; six children, Teresa Moore of Eastman, Christy Brown and husband James of Glenwood, Angela McGahee of Arizona, Wendy Coleman and husband Chad of Mt. Vernon, Chris Gray of McRae, and Justin Cravey of Kibbee; father, James Richard McGahee of Kibbee; six siblings, J.W. McGahee, of Kibbee, Jackie Miller and husband Mike of Kibbee, Wayne Marsh of Soperton, Betty Brooks and husband Mike of Richmond Hill, Olivia Marsh of South Carolina, and Hilda Brazell and husband William of Uvalda; eighteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday, August 8th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Bishop Gilbert Wommack officiating.  Burial will follow in the McGahee Family Cemetery in Kibbee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the Oasis Church of God, P.O. Box 1416, Lyons GA 30436.

Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of arrangements.
