The Vidalia Heritage Academy held its annual tennis camp the last two weeks of July. The camp was a big success with several new players coming out to learn the basics of tennis as well as experienced players who learned methods to improve their games.

“It is great to see a young interest in a sport that can be played throughout a lifetime,” said Coach Toni Banks.  “The team ended with a winning record in its first year this spring, and we plan to continue to improve as we instill Godly principles to youth both on and off the courts.”

Due to increasing interest in athletic opportunities at Vidalia Heritage Academy, the school plans to have both a middle school team and a varsity tennis team competing in the Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association (GICAA) in the spring season.
