July 29—The Treutlen Lady Vikings Softball team has had a busy summer preparing for the upcoming season.

“ We graduated five starters from last year so this year’s team is very young. We had a busy July and I had the opportunity to see the freshmen coming up and they have looked good. We are basically starting over in the infield and we have a lot of holes to fill.” Coach Brent Korn said.

“ The season starts at home against Wilcox Co on August 13th and then the Tattnall Tournament along with a non-region game early in the season with ECI. We will get to see a good bit before we get into the region schedule. All the games are important because of the power rankings. We have a lot of work to do in a short period of time but I am looking forward to it.” Korn said.
