The Vidalia Lady Indians Softball team has had a great summer season. The girls are 29-0 including winning the GRPA 18 and Under Girls Softball State Championship for the fifth time in eight years. Vidalia won the Bryan Co Summer Slam Wednesday winning five games in the tournament.

“I have girls that love to be out there. It isn’t a chore, they want to learn and get better. Our pitching has been lights out so far this year. We lost seven seniors last year and we have a young team on the field this year, but they have really bounced out there and played hard.” Coach Brad Thompson said.

“ Next week we will have our annual camp at the school and also go visit the residents at the Bethany Home where the girls will read and just spend some time with the residents. We will then go to West Laurens and play a couple of games.” Thompson said.
