Mrs. Bonnie Tatum, Lyons

July 15--Mrs. Bonnie Tatum, age 61 of Lyons, died Monday, July 14, 2014 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Lyons, was a homemaker and cat sitter for Mrs. Pearl McDonald. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Lyons and loved all animals and playing Farmville on Facebook. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Lillie Mae Eason; one son, Ronald Tatum Jr.; and one brother, Charles Eason.

Mrs. Tatum is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Ronald Tatum Sr.; one son, Wesley “Tater” Tatum and wife Jennifer of Lyons; three daughters, Laura Connell, Jennifer Fowler and husband James all of Tarrytown, and Jackie Tatum MacNeal of Grantville; one brother, Billy Eason and wife Linda; one sister, Anne Frost and husband William all of Glennville; nine grandchildren, Cody Brinson, Josh Brinson, Ryan Brinson, Lauren Brinson, Alyssa MacNeal, Brooks MacNeal, Paisley McCoy, Laney Tatum, Emily Tatum, and Lily Tatum; and one great-grandson, Caiden Brinson.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 16th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Bargeron and Pastor Danny Zorn officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyons City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00.

Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of the arrangements.
