Monday, 14 July 2014

July 14--  The reward in the murder of a Santa Claus convenience story operator has almost tripled.

The Vidalia-Area Crimestoppers reward which started out at $1,500 has now increased to $4,250 thanks to donations from friends and family of Chris Wiggins who was shot and killed June 8 during an armed robbery of the Santa Claus Minit-Mart.

Anyone who provides information leading to an arrest in the case will receive the reward.  Information may be provided anonymously by calling the Crimestoppers Hotline at 1-866-439-6313.

Donations to the reward fund may be mailed to Crimestoppers, P.O. Box 86, Vidalia, GA 30475.
