Five Arrested in Lyons

July 7--  Five people are being charged in connection with a series of residential burglaries and thefts in Lyons.

Police Chief Wesley Walker says the burglaries occurred over the last two months and a break in the case led to the arrest of Johnnie Kicklighter of Lyons and later implicated four others.

ImageKicklighter faces five counts of burglary, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, pointing a firearm at another, theft by deception, forgery and financial card fraud.

ImageKory Powell of Vidalia is charged with burglary.

ImageRussell Youmans of Lyons is accused of theft by receiving stolen property.

ImageGracie Phillips of Lyons is charged with theft by deception.

ImageKim Fonseca of Lyons faces charges of receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit burglary.

Chief Walker says most of the stolen items were power tools, televisions and guns and that they will be returned to their owners.
