Mr. Bobby Hall, Vidalia

July 3--Mr. Bobby Hall, age 79 of Vidalia, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the Meadows Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.  He was born in Vidalia, and lived in Toombs County most of his life.  He was formerly a welder and diesel mechanic for McDonald Construction for forty-five years.  He was a former member of the Vidalia Masonic Lodge #330, and a U.S. Army veteran.  He enjoyed deep-sea fishing and gardening.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Whipple Hall and Marilu Gibson Hall.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Sylvia Hall of Vidalia; three daughters, Barbara Hall of Vidalia, Debbie Hall Williamson and husband Tim of Higgston, and Beverly Hall of Vidalia; grandchildren, Tyler Still, Justin Williamson, Ailey Williamson, and Daniel Williamson; one brother, Victor Hall and wife Helen of the Center Community; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 5th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 7:00.
