Mr. Bernice Clark, Richmond Hill

July 2-- Mr. Bernice Clark, age 87, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation in Richmond Hill after an extended illness. 

He was a native of Toombs County, where he lived most of his life.  He also lived in Augusta and Oak Park for many years, and in Savannah and Richmond Hill for the past ten years. 

He was a retired carpenter and farmer, was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, and was Primitive Baptist by faith.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Riner Clark; two infant children, David Clark and John Paul Clark; parents, Clifford and Josie Braddy Clark; and six siblings, Columbus, A.D., Elizabeth, Edward, Sue Nell, and Dorothy.

Mr. Clark is survived by two children, Jeanie Chance and husband Paul of Savannah, and Neal Clark and wife JoAnne of Portal; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 3rd at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Elder Sam Adkins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oak Park City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of arrangements.
