Staff Changes at Montgomery Schools
Wednesday, 21 May 2014

May 21--  The primary actions taken at the May meeting of the Montgomery County school board Monday night regarded personnel changes.

School Superintendent Randy Rodgers says the board approved hiring of a school counselor from Long County High School, Malinda Meadows, to succeed Carla Coleman who is moving to Vidalia High School.

It also reassigned elementary school assistant principal Melanie McLemore to head the CTAE (vocational education) and curriculum programs at the high school to replace Rhonda Stone who is moving to Toombs County High School.

The board hired substitute teachers Hallie Webb and Wendy Coleman and approved resignations from Patricia Dobbins and Christine Spivey.

According to Rodgers, Mrs. Dobbins has been employed by the school system for more than 50 years and has most recently been a para-pro at the elementary school.
