Allen Leads Poll
Wednesday, 07 May 2014

May 7--  A new poll jointly released Monday by Landmark Communications and Rosetta Stone Communications identifies Rick Allen now leading the Republican Primary for Georgia Congressional District 12.

Allen leads among Georgia Republican primary voters with 40% of the vote. Eugene Yu is twenty five points behind Allen at 15%. Delvis Dutton and John Stone has 8% of support, while Representative Diane Vann has 3%

“Barring any last minute mishaps it looks like Rick Allen could win this race without a run-off” said Steve Schultz, CEO of Atlanta-based Rosetta Stone Communications, ” Other candidates still have a chance to make it into a run-off election, but with only 26% of the electorate left undecided, that is going to be increasingly difficult.”

Landmark Communications, Inc and Rosetta Stone Communications conducted a statewide poll of 500 Likely Voters in the May Republican Primary. Only voters who fully completed the survey were tabulated in the results. The poll was conducted Thursday, May 1st, and results reflect only respondents who stated that they intend to vote in the 2014 Republican Primary. The poll was conducted by telephone using IVR technology. The margin of error of the survey is 4.5%. To be consistent with previous and projected voter turnout, results are weighted based on age and gender.
