May 1-- Mrs. Myra Mae Fowler, age 94, of Soperton died Wednesday, April 30, 2014.

Mrs. Fowler was born in Emanuel County and was preceded in death by her parents, Clement E. and Maggie Dixon Kea; husband, Charles Henry Fowler; sisters, Jewel Small, Peggy Winninger, and Margaret Jambor; and brother, John Hugh Kea.  She was a retired nurse with Treutlen Nursing Home, Soperton, and was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Wayne (Barbre) Fowler, Soperton, Wyman Fowler, Oak Park, William “Skip” (Mary) Fowler, Cedar Crossing, and June Walker, Atlanta; sister, Bessie Paul Moore, Macon; brother, Clement “Buddy” Kea, Redwood Falls, MN; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3 with the Reverend Lamar Little officiating.  Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Treutlen County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and may be reached at the home of Wayne and Barbre Fowler, 3115 Ohoopee Bend, Soperton, GA.
