Indians Begin Spring Practice
Tuesday, 29 April 2014

April 29—The VHS Indian Football team began spring practice Monday. Vidalia finished second in the region and made it to the second round of the state playoffs last season. The Indians are looking to fill spots on the team this year and will practice for the next two weeks.

“ I think the spring serves several purposes, one it catapults us into the summer and it also gives the kids that are new a chance to understand how we do things heading into the fall. Spring also gives us an opportunity to find out who is willing to step up out of the younger kids to fill the holes left by the seniors that have graduated and to see the newcomers or transfers that are ready to play football.” Coach Lee Chomskis said.

The Indians will have a scrimmage game to end the spring practices on Friday, May 9th at 6:30pm at Buck Cravey Field. The public is invited to attend.
