Rain Plays Havoc With Schedules
Friday, 18 April 2014

April 18th---The weather front that moved into the area Friday morning has forced the cancellation of sporting events across the area. In baseball Vidalia's scheduled game with Bacon Co. was washed out and will now be played on Monday afternoon at 5:45 in Alma. That will now force the Indians to play 3 key Region 2AA games next week. Including the game on Monday, the Indians will be on the road in Lyons to face Toombs County on Tuesday at 5:45 and then will wrap up the 2014 regular season at home on Friday, when they will play host to Metter on Senior Night at 5:45. Of course all of the Indians baseball games can be heard on Your Favorite 98Q or on the web at www.southeastgeorgiatoday.com

In other Baseball action, Montgomery County's game in Savannah against Savannah Country Day was also a wash and will be made up next Friday at 5:00 PM.

Also on Friday the Indians Soccer games with Southeast Bulloch were postponed, with no make up date planned at the time of cancellation.
