The Vidalia Indians defeated the Atkinson Co Rebels 12-1 Tuesday on the reservation in a region contest. The Indians jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning and added two runs in the second and third innings and scored five more in the fifth. Jordan Black picked up the win on the mound.

Vidalia is 6-5 in region games and 7-8 overall. The Indians will host Jenkins Co Thursday at 5:45pm.

In Class A, the Treutlen Vikings defeated Savannah Christian for the first time in their series history with a 13-2 region win in Savannah. Junior pitcher Brad Cammack scattered 8 hits and only gave up 2 late runs.  With Treutlen up 5-0 heading to the 6th inning, the Viking bats came alive and scored 8 runs to put the game away.  The Vikings will travel to Eastman to play the Indians of Dodge Co Wednesday at 6:00pm.

The Toombs Co Bulldogs lost to the Metter Tigers in Lyons 6-3. The Tigers scored five runs in the fifth inning to take the lead after the Bulldogs led 2-0.

Toombs Co is 6-4 in region games and will travel to Pembroke to play Bryan Co Friday at 4:30pm.

The Montgomery Co Eagles lost to the ECI Bulldogs 14-0 at home Tuesday. The Eagles will host Glascock Co Thursday at 4:30pm.
