Vidalia High School senior Dashon “Dada” Holloway has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Brewton Parker College in Mt Vernon.

“ These things are hard to come by and we are extremely happy for him and how he will be playing close to home. It just goes to show how hard work and dedication pays off. I think his best basketball is still yet to come.” VHS Head Coach Tommy Dalley said.

“ I think Dashon is a tremendous basketball player, he plays with a lot of heart and passion. Coming from a program that Coach Dalley at Vidalia has put together he is a winner. Having a local kid like Dashon that can come in and be successful is really huge for our program.” BPC Head Coach Jarvis Smith said.

“ I think Brewton Parker is the best choice for me. It is right up the road and I have my fans from high school that came come and watch me. I have always wanted to play basketball at the next level and I am thankful for the opportunity that Coach Smith and BPC have given me.” Holloway said.
