March 9-- Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Corbitt Driggers will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Higgs Funeral Home in Soperton.

Burial will follow in the Red Bluff Church Cemetery.  Reverend Ike Branch and Sister June Scott will officiate.  Mr. Driggers died Friday, March 7, 2014.

Mr. Driggers, 86, was the son of the late Corbitt & Effie Driggers.  He was born in Glennville, GA and had lived in Laurens County most of his life.  He was retired from Dublin Industrial Company, was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army, was Baptist by Faith and attended Hebron Holiness Church in Treutlen County.  He was preceded in death by his son, Eddie Driggers; three sisters, Mildred Lamb, Marie Hues & Pauline Kitchens and two brothers, Bobby & Bennie Driggers.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Maxine Frost Driggers; three sons, Larry (Lucy) Driggers of Frisco, TX, David (Pam) Driggers of Rosenburg, TX, and Dr. Terry (Janece) Driggers of Brazoria, TX; one daughter, Debra

(Ed) Fiori of Rosenburg, TX; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

Pallbearers will be Billy Graham, Mitchell Graham, Shannon Graham, Chris Garrett, Jimmy Steptoe and Jimmy McCuller.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Higgs Funeral Home of Soperton is in charge of arrangements.
