Mr. Duane Galbreath, Sharpespur

February 13-- Mr. Duane Galbreath, age 65 of the Sharpespur Community, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in Glenwood Healthcare after an extended illness. 

He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, was a carpenter, and a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.  He was a member of the New Corinth Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his father, S.L. Galbreath in 2010.  He enjoyed the outdoors; including fishing, canoeing and hunting.

Mr. Galbreath is survived by two children, Shane and William; mother, Doris “Dot” Galbreath; two sisters, Cheryl Foss and Kim Corley and husband Jim; one brother, Terry Galbreath all of Sharpespur; god-brother, Dennis Thornton of Vidalia, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 15th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Corley and Reverend Mark Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Galbreath Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
