February 7--The Vidalia Indians rolled over the Toombs Co Bulldogs 81-37 Friday night in Lyons. Vidalia led 27-4 after the 1st quarter, 57-15 at halftime and 76-25 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Indians had four players in double figures Ramel Thompkins with 19 points, Malik Mincey with 13 points, Dashon Holloway had 11 points and Alton McLeod scored 10 points. Vidalia finishes the regular season 25-0 and 16-0 in the region. The Indians are the number one seed in the region tournament and will play in the semi-finals next Friday at Brewton-Parker College.

The VHS Lady Indians defeated the Toombs Co Lady Bulldogs 71-30. The Lady Indians led 21-6 after the 1st period, 41-12 at the half and 59-23 after the 3rd period. Vidalia had three players in double figures Chynna Hodge with 14 points, Trinity Hamm had 12 points and Chambria Harrison scored 10 points. The Lady Indians are the number seed in the region and end the regular season 20-5 and 16-0 in the region. Vidalia will play next Friday in the region tournament at Brewton-Parker College.

In Class A the Treutlen Vikings lost at the buzzer to the Calvary Day Cavaliers 66-64 in Savannah. The Vikings end the regular season 17-2. The Lady Vikings lost their game to the Lady Cavaliers 66-43. The Lady Vikings end the regular season at 12-7.

In the GISA the RTCA Crusaders swept the DEA Eagles in Lyons on senior night. The Crusaders winning 72-58 and the Lady Crusaders won their game by three points 37-34.
