January 22---Mrs. Louise Willis Campbell, age 88, of the Taylor Springs Community, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a brief illness.  She was a native of Montgomery County and lived in Taylor Springs most of her life.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Ruth’s Chapel United Methodist Church; where she sang in the choir and was church treasurer for many years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Campbell; son, Larry Campbell; parents, Austin and Betty Matthews Willis; brother, J.E. Willis; and sister, Emma Conaway.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by three sons, Johnny Campbell and Annie Ruth Sharpe, Jackie Campbell and Martha, and Jerry Campbell and Susan Reynolds all of Taylor Springs; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday, January 24th at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Lee and Reverend Jason McClendon officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ruth’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
