January 5--The Vidalia Indians remained undefeated for the year with a 94-54 region win over the Long Co Blue Tide Saturday at the H Ralph Parsons Gymnasium. The Indians led 28-10 at the end of the 1st period and 50-26 at the half. Vidalia had four players in double figures Jordan Black with 18 points, Malik Mincey with 14 points, Dashon Holloway had 12 points and Ramel Thompkins with 10 points. The Indians are 13-0.

The VHS Lady Indians won their game easily over Long Co 60-16. Vidalia started the game with a 12-0 lead and led 34-11 at halftime. Chambria Harrison scored 22 points and Kourtney Owens had 10 points in the victory. The Lady Indians are 9-4 overall and 6-0 in region games.

The Montgomery Co Eagles won both games over the Toombs Co Bulldogs in Mt Vernon. The Lady Eagles came from behind to defeat the Lady Bulldogs 46-44. The Montgomery Co Boys winning by 20 points 83-63.

The Treutlen Vikings swept Twiggs Co at home Saturday night. The Lady Vikings winning 78-61. Nesha Blair scored 19 points, Jasmine Brown and Nikita Wicker had 17 points each in the win. The Treutlen Viking Boys winning 76-63.
