Toombs Honors Special Ed Teacher

December 16--  The Toombs County school system honored its Special Education Teacher of the Year at the school board's December meeting.

ImagePhillip Morris (R) from Lyons Primary School receives a plaque in his honor from Dr. Alex Jordan from the Georgia Learning Resource Service.

After an executive session, the board voted to accept the resignation of Robbie Rogers and replace him with Bobby Waller as supervisor of In School Suspension at Toombs County Middle School.  Rogers is training as a student teacher.

The board also accepted the resignation of Christy Versprille as soccer coach.
