Vidalia Sweeps A Pair Over Metter

December 8--ImageThe Vidalia Indians swept the Metter Tigers in region games Friday night at the H. Ralph Parsons gymnasium. The Lady Indians winning 61-25 and the Indian Boys winning 87-42.

In the girls game the Lady Indians led 28-12 at halftime and built the lead to 45-16 at the end of the 3rd period. Chambria Harrison led the Lady Indians with 16 points.The Vidalia Lady Indians improve to 2-1 for the season.

In the boys game VHS led 16-6 at the end of the 1st period and with great defense in the 2nd period led 45-19 at the half. The Indians led 78-31 at the end of the 3rd period. The Indians had four players in double figures, Jordan Black scored 18 points, Ramel Thompkins had 16 points and DeShawn Holloway and Will Chamblis both with 10 points each. The Indians are 3-0 this season.

Vidalia will host Atkinson Co Tuesday night with tip-off set for the girls game at 6:00pm.
