VHS Coach Steve Fullam Honored In Tennessee

Vidalia High School Coach Steve Fullam was honored back in his home state of Tennessee this past Saturday. Coach Fullam was inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame by Warren Co High School in McMinnville, Tennessee. Coach Fullam help start the wrestling program at the school in 1992.

“ This is the biggest honor I have ever had professionally. I have coached professional football players and teams that I have coached have played in the Georgia Dome, there have been a lot of good things happen in my career, but to be recognized in that way is the biggest.” Coach Fullam said.

“ Anytime you get recognized for what you do is nice. The first wrestling match I ever saw was the first one I ever coached. I was 28 years old when I started coaching wrestling and I was just learning about wrestling and now to have kids come back and tell me that I had a positive impact on their life is the reason we as coaches do what we do." Fullam said.

Coach Fullam has been coaching football, baseball and wrestlng in Vidalia for 15 years.
