Members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes from both Vidalia High School and Toombs Co High School joined together and raised almost $1500 in five days for God’s Storehouse in Vidalia. The funds raised will help with the costs of the Thanksgiving meal given by God’s Storehouse to those in need in the community.

“ This is really amazing to see the kid’s come together and raise this much money for such a good cause. We were able to raise $1498.91 for God’s Storehouse to help with their Thanksgiving meal. This is a huge blessing that everybody worked really hard to raise this amount of money in a short period of time.” Mary Bennett of FCA said.

“ It was awesome to present the funds to Tina Houser the facility director of God’s Storehouse last week who was very humble and thankful for the help.” Bennett stated.

God’s Storehouse plans on feeding nearly 1500 people for the Thanksgiving holiday with a cost of over $5000. For more information call (912) 538-1730.
