November 11--  The Georgia High School Football Daily provides a list of 2013 Georgia High School Association region football champions.

Region champions

Six teams won their first region championships in 2013. Congratulations to Archer, North Paulding, Westover, Veterans, Mount Pisgah Christian and Aquinas. Twenty of 48 region champions from 2012 repeated. Below are the 50 region champions (including three co-champs) and the most recent season that each had won a region title.

Note: Teams that tie for first place are considered co-champions if they use coin tosses or other random methods to determine the No. 1 seed. Regions that break ties using scores are listed as having only one region champion.
