Chamber Members Hear "Don't Give Up"
Friday, 30 January 2009

January 30--  Gloom and doom can be a self-fulfilling prophecy, however, Brian Frost, new chairman of the Toombs-Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, is encouraging members to think positive.  "We're looking forward to a positive year helping our business community grow and we just want to be the voice of business," he said.

Brian Frost accepts the Chairman's Gavel from outgoing Chairwoman Karon Durden.

The Chamber held its annual meeting and heard from author and syndicated columnist Ronda Rich.  Her message, "Don't Give Up."  She's the daughter of a Gainesville minister and her latest book is "What Southern Women Know About Faith."

"You'll see such great stories in this.  I hope that what people take away from it is that faith can get them through very difficult times, and help you fully embrace and enjoy good times when you do have them," she said.
