The two honorary coaches for the game are both from youth homes in the area, Clint Blount of the Blount Academy and Drew Reed from the Paul Anderson Youth Home. Each coach will get to call a play in the game.

“It is an honor anytime that you can have an opportunity to have an influence on young people. For me to have been selected I’m very thankful.” Blount said.

“ I am just thankful for Lee for thinking of Clint and myself and that his desire is to invest in youth. Our investment in the youth homes is to make a difference with young lives and that is what every teacher does and that is what every educator is trying to do.” Reed said.

“ Both of these guys, and both of the homes that they represent are in the same business that we really are in. We are in the business of trying to teach young men how to be accountable and have a strong work ethic and have the discipline in life to be successful. I applaud what they are doing in the community and what they are doing for all of those kids. I have visited both places and they do an outstanding job at what they do, and we just wanted them to come over and be a part of our Spring Game and tie those two homes together with the community.” Coach Lee Chomskis said.

“ Spring practice is always an exciting time for us. We enjoy getting the guys back out here, and it is a short period of time just ten days. It gives us an opportunity to really see our young kids. We have a lot of holes to fill and had a lot of seniors to graduate so we really have been testing our line and getting to know the young guys.” Chomskis said.
