Two Local Talents Sign With BPC Soccer
Monday, 22 April 2013
April 22--The Brewton-Parker  College soccer team recently added two local players to its squad next season, junior college transfer Cole Lynn and high school senior Dakota Paradise.

Lynn signing
Cole Lynn
A 2011 graduate of Toombs County High School, Cole Lynn played his first two years of college ball at Middle Georgia College in Cochran, GA.  While at TCHS, Lynn was a three-year team captain, tallied 28 goals and 20 assists, and earned 1st Team All-Region.  In addition to his athletic accolades, Lynn was an active member at the First Baptist Church of Lyons.  He will finish at MGC this May and plans on majoring in biology.  “I’m excited to have Cole finish his career at BPC.  I recruited him during his senior year of high school, and with two years of college ball, I have seen his game dramatically improve.  He is a versatile player who plays both in the midfield and on defense, and with his college experience, he’ll come in already adjusted to the college game,” said Coach Dye.

A 2013 graduate of Vidalia High School, Dakota Paradise joins the Barons after turning down other college offers around the state.  Paradise was a four-year starter for the Indians, and he has played for Toombs County Soccer Association for more than 10 years underneath BPC alumni Fletcher Corbin.  Paradise currently holds a 3.4 GPA and is an undecided major.  “Dakota is another versatile player joining the squad next season.  It is rare to find a player who has been called upon his coaches to play every position on the field, from goalkeeper to striker.  He is a smart kid on and off of the field, and he works extremely hard.  He is exactly what I was looking for in my 2013 recruiting class,” said Coach Dye.
