Lady Indian Warren Signs Soccer Scholarship
Thursday, 11 April 2013

April 11—ImageVHS Lady Indians senior soccer player Kim Warren has signed a scholarship to play soccer at Middle Georgia State College. Kim is the daughter of Jimmy and Gwen Warren. Gwen is the principal at JR Trippe Middle School.

“ I have thought about playing soccer at college all through high school playing travel ball and playing for the school team, it has been a huge part of who I am and to see it over would be really sad. I am real excited to get the opportunity to continue playing. I went to Middle Georgia several times and I get along with the team and coaches and it is just a really good fit for me.” Kim Warren said.

“ We could not be more pleased with what she has done throughout her whole life. Kim has always been a hard worker and a good girl. We are very proud of her and she has done a great job. Middle Georgia has a very good reputation for what she wants to do. We think she wants to be in nursing and leading on into a medical career.” Gwen Warren said.

“ We are real proud of Kim and her hard work on the field and in the classroom, she will do a great job representing Vidalia at the next level.” VHS Soccer Coach William Harn said.
