April 5--  Three Southeastern Technical College Dental Hygiene students were inducted into a select group, Hinman Scholars, at a ceremony in Atlanta.

Their instructor, Jennifer Gramiak, nominated them for the honor.

“I am so proud of these students,” said Gramiak. “For the past two years, they have worked very hard and excelled in the program. They are very deserving of this recognition.”

The recipients of the scholarships were chosen by STC Dental Hygiene faculty and then invited to the Atlanta meeting, where their room and board was paid for by the Hinman Dental Society of Atlanta. The organization has granted scholarships to dental hygiene students since 1989.
