April 5--The Brewton-Parker College Barons Baseball Team is 18-11 this season and 10-5 in the SSAC conference.

" We have the toughest schedule in our conference and this conference is rated #1 in the country in the NAIA. We have taken 2 out of 3 games and won every series on the weekend, we beat the #19 team on the road and split this past week with the #7 team Embrey-Riddle out of Florida, the boys are playing hard. We are #3 in the conference and we are holding our own, so right now I could not be more happier." Coach Greg Mullins said.

" We are doing well in pitching with three really good weekend starters, we are near the top in most of the pitching categories with a team e.r.a. below three which is almost unheard of in college baseball with the aluminum bats. We are also doing a good job hitting the ball. We have to keep doing what we are doing." Mullins stated.

" We are recruiting the right guys and they are coming in and doing what we are asking them to do, they are performing the right way to give them a chance at the next level. They have put Brewton-Parker back on the map like back in the late 90's and early 2000's  when BPC was nationally ranked and going to the national playoffs, so I am really excited." Mullins said.
