VHS JV Baseball Team
Wednesday, 03 April 2013

April 3--ImageThe VHS Junior Varsity Baseball Team is 7-4 overall this season and defeated the Metter Tigers 15-0 Tuesday at Greg James Field in Vidalia. The team has been playing well as of late according to Coach Rhett Carter.

" We have been hitting the ball really well and our pitching has come through for us throwing a lot of strikes and we have cut down on our walks, giving our defense a chance. Our approach at the plate has gotten a lot better. We are very strong with our freshmen class, we have a lot of freshmen and sophmores who float back and fourth between the varsity and the junior varsity. We feel real good about the next two or three years with the varsity. We have about two more weeks left and I feel we are going to make a good run and finish real strong. " Carter said.

" I feel real good about our JV and Middle School teams coming up the next few years." Carter said.
