Bulldogs Beat Indians In 12

March 28--ImageThe Toombs Co Bulldogs defeated cross county rivals the Vidalia Indians 7-6 in 12 innings Wednesday in a region game in Lyons. In a long baseball game that saw both teams being down 3 runs to battle back and tie it up, only to miss oportunities to win the game in regulation.

Hunter Braddy drove in Chris Mobley with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game for the Toombs Co Bulldogs. Jeremy Beasley was the winning pitcher for the Bulldogs who are now 5-2 in the region and 8-3 overall. The Indians are 3-4 in region play and 5-6 overall.

Both teams are back in action Thursday, Toombs Co will host Calvary and Vidalia travels to Soperton to take on the Treutlen Vikings.
