March 15--In area high school baseball action Friday the VHS Indians picked up a region win at home over McIntosh Co Academy 9-3. The Indians dominated the game and are now 2-1 in the region.

The Treutlen Vikings lost to Jenkins Co in Soperton 10-4,ending the Vikings winning streak.

The Toombs Co Bulldogs lost to Bryan Co 8-6 in Pembroke. The Bulldogs trailed in the game three times by two and came back to tie it up, they were unable to do it again in the top of the seventh with runners on base. The Bulldogs are now 1-2 in region play.

The Mongomery Co Eagles lost their game to Calvary Day 11-1 in Savannah.

In the GISA the RTCA Crusaders lost to Appling Christian in Lyons 13-0.
