RTCA Tennis Team
Tuesday, 12 March 2013

March 12--Tennis is in full swing at Robert Toombs Christian Academy. The Crusaders have played two matches so far this season against DEA and Trinity of Dublin. Lisa Hagan is the new tennis coach at RTCA this year.

" My team has been working really hard for the past several weeks to get ready. I have five boys and eight girls, several of those while they have played sports at RTCA and have been very succesful this is their first time ever playing tennis. For the last couple of weeks we have been working on the fundamentals, especially those that play doubles they have been working really hard getting to know each other and learning how to give each other signals and encouragement during play." Hagan said.

" The team played well this past Friday against DEA and our boys team won 2-0 I am really proud of them, they all did a great job. Our girls while we did go down as a team 2-3 we did have two wins from the girls singles." Hagan stated.

" We didn't pick up any wins against Trinity of Dublin on Monday but all of the matches were hard fought right down to the end. Trinity is a large school and they are a well established program, with us being small and in a building year we did learn a lot and what we need to work this week before we face Frederica on Friday which is another experienced and good team. No matter what the results are I know that I am going to be able to be proud of this team."Hagen said
