March 8--The VHS Soccer Teams are off to a great start this season both the girls and the boys have been working hard during practice and it is paying off with wins with games on the field.

" We are real pleased with both groups, they are hustling and working hard during practice and that is where it starts, you gotta work hard at practice and it will show up on the field. We were able to pick up a couple of wins against Atkinson Co. Tuesday the boys were tied at the half but were able to come in and regroup and they battled back and got the win. Our girls linked a lot of little passes together and finished their opportunities and were able to get a win." Coach William Harn said.

The Indians travel to Pembroke Friday for a match with Bryan Co.
