March 1--The Vidalia Heritage Academy Wrestling Team had four young wrestlers qualify for the state tournamentat at the tournament held at East Laurens last weekend.

" We are very proud of them, we had Ledger Curl qualify by winning all three of his matches, he took first place and will get the first seed in the six and under 65 pounds and under class. C.J Palmer worked hard this year and also qualified along with John Colby Thompson who took third and made it to the state tournament." Coach Chester Proctor said.

" Probably the toughest competition for our guys was Colt Reddick, he came in and was in the same weight class as another one of our wrestlers Chase McClain, both guys have seen each other season long and knew one would win and one would lose.Colt was the winner and he needed two wins and picked his up, Chase got one win and finished fifth, which is great beacause these guys are first year wrestlers. Colt finished in fourth place and gets to move on to the state tournament." Proctor stated.

" The state tournament is at Jasper High School in north Georgia on March 9th. a long trip up but until then we are going to take these four guys and work more closer with them and get them ready for the tournament." Proctor said.
