TCHS Boys Basketball Team
Thursday, 24 January 2013

January 24--The Toombs Co Boys Basketball Team is playing well, winning four out of it's last five games. The Bulldogs will have to become "road warriors", their last five regular season games are on the road, starting this Friday night at Long Co. The Bulldogs are 6-10 for the year and are the number three team in the sub-region.

" When you start off as slow as we did you hope that it is just growing pains, and it was with us. We are coming on, we have won four out of five, and hopefully this will give us momentum heading down the region strech. I told the guys were are just going to have to become road warriors, you can't complain or fuss about the schedule, it is what it is,sometimes you just have to go take wins." Coach Keary Brownlee said.

" I think this is a really tough region, but the most mentally tough team is going to win. You are going to have to play road games in state, and it is going to be a hostile enviroment, if you can just stay the course and execute, and be able to handle the press, and not turn the ball over, along with hitting your free throws, I think you can go on the road and be sucessful." Brownlee said.
