January 22--The Treutlen Lady Vikings Basketball Team is 13-2 for the year, and they have won eight games in a row. The Lady Vikings picked up two wins this past week, Friday at home against ECI, and Saturday on the road at Savannah Christian. " I felt like the girls played hard, we started out slow against Savannah Christian, but we rallied in the end, I am just really proud of the team continuing to play well. This year we have had times when one player may not be playing well, but then we have someone else to step up to the plate and bring their A game and get the job done." Coach Daisy Brown said. " We have our two seniors, Brianna Snead and India Pierce who have been leading in scoring, and their leadership is really exceptional, they have grown up thru the program, and junior Nesha Blair she is really a defensive player and her defense is creating her offense, an she has been in the top three in scoring." Brown said. The Lady Vikings play two important games this week starting with Johnson Co at home on Tuesday night, and then Metter at home this Saturday.
